Job Title – Registered Nurse – Case Manager RN (Inpatient)
Location – Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States
Duration – 13 Weeks (07/06/2026 onward)
Shift – Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
Rotation – Yes (Weekend rotation required for 4x10 schedules; 5x8 schedules are Monday–Friday)
Float – Yes
Call Requirement – No
Registered Nurse – Case Manager RN responsible for coordinating inpatient acute care case management services for both adult and pediatric patient populations. The RN Case Manager will serve as the primary discharge planner while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely, and effective patient care transitions.
This is a fast‑paced inpatient acute care role requiring strong discharge planning, utilization review, care coordination, and communication skills. The position requires flexibility to float between assignments based on unit needs and willingness to work with pediatric and women’s patient populations. Strong acute care hospital experience is essential.
Requirements Mandatory Skills / Experience- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 6–12 months Acute Care Case Management experience REQUIRED
- Large acute care hospital experience REQUIRED
- Inpatient acute care experience REQUIRED
- Experience with adult and pediatric patient populations required
- Must be willing to work with Pediatrics/Women’s patients
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Level II Trauma experience preferred
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Strong discharge planning and care coordination experience required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced inpatient environment
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to float between assignments as needed

- Primary responsibilities include inpatient discharge planning and acute care case management for adult and pediatric assignments.
