ICU Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Hours:

36 or 48 hours per week Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience (first-time travelers may be accepted) Ventilator management experience required Licensure:
New Mexico RN license (may pend at time of submission)

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS (preferred: NIHSS, TNCC) EMR:
Experience with Cerner preferred Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical/surgical ICU setting. Monitor and manage ventilator support and other critical care interventions. Administer medications and IV therapies including management of vasoactive drips. Perform various nursing procedures such as intubation, suctioning, and chest tube management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Conduct assessments and document patient progress in electronic health records.
