Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Medical Surgical unit. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, perform comprehensive assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. This position offers strong clinical exposure, teamwork-driven culture, and opportunities for professional growth in a modern acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective patient care in a Medical Surgical environment
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control compliance
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care
- Respond to changes in patient condition and elevate as needed
Qualifications / Requirements
- Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required within 6 months of hire
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- 1+ year Med Surg experience or 1+ year any Rn experience
Pay & Compensation
- Salary Range: $74,880 – $100,000 annually
- $20,000 Sign-On Bonus (based on experience & qualifications)

Shift Details
- Full-Time Position
- Medical Surgical Unit (34-bed unit)
- Flexible shift schedules (day/night rotation depending on unit needs)
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: approximately 1:5 to 1:6
