• Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• BLS required (AHA only)
• RN License in state of NM or compact
