SAMPA is one of the world's largest manufacturers of heavy-duty commercial vehicle components, active in both the OEM and Aftermarket segments with a presence in 23 countries and market share in 160. In order to support our significant growth in the Mexico market, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager.
We are seeking a high-potential and results-driven Regional Sales Manager Mexico to join our sales team. The regional sales manager will be responsible for managing sales activities within an assigned geographic territory, cultivating relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for Monterrey, Guadalajara, Ciudad de México, and Mérida – Yucatán.
Responsibilities- Execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the assigned region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new opportunities for business development
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential prospects and market trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective product/service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to clients
- Monitor competitors' activities and market conditions to adjust strategies as needed
- Travel within the territory to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field,
- Preferable Min 8 years’ experience in field sales positions, preferable in aftermarket,
- Strong sales skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets,
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment as a good team player,
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English and additionally preferably in local languages,
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships,
- Objective, result and solution oriented and able to meet deadlines,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and preferably CRM and ERP software’s,
- Having a driver's license and having no obstacle to travel,
- Must reside in the assigned region,
- Able to travel within the territory (about 80%).
