Territory Information
- Field-based sales role covering Phoenix Mirror territory (includes Las Vegas NV, Tucson AZ, Albuquerque/Santa Fe NM, El Paso TX). Reside within territory.
- Travel varies; willing to travel to visit customers and national meetings.
- Communicate meaningful product information; tailor discussions to customer needs.
- Conduct informed product discussions with HCPs; know when/how to provide additional information.
- For select accounts, act as primary point of contact; meet key personnel to understand practice structure, business model, influencers/network, needs, and opportunities.
- Coordinate with customer team to develop customer strategy (relationships/interactions, solutions, offerings).
- Share learnings/best practices; focus on better health outcomes.
- Provide input on resource allocation; select programs/services to address needs.
- Maintain understanding of practice/account structure and make info available to stakeholders.
- Embrace new technologies/channels to engage customers; demonstrate ethics/integrity and compliance.
- Execute across sales process stages; position HIV products vs. competition using approved resources.
- Stay ahead of market trends; ask strategic questions; segment/target and manage portfolio.
- Understand HIV payer environment and stakeholder roles; develop and execute account plans.
- Manage territory/cross-functional collaboration; build relationships in “no sample” environments; apply a business-owner mindset.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s + 2 years sales OR high school + 6 years equivalent (sales/marketing/military/healthcare-scientific).
- Valid driver’s license; travel within territory.
Preferred experience/skills:
- 2+ years account management/sales with Infectious Disease customers (HIV and/or launch preferred).
- Specialty sales/launch; pharma/biotech/med device sales.
- Regulated-industry experience; hospital system experience.
- Complex payer expertise (incl. pharmacy stakeholders); strong business acumen/relationships; thought leader/adoption experience; no-sample relationship development.
- Adaptability, Business Acumen, Business Decisions, Competency Management, Customer Service, Hospital Sales, Interpersonal Relationships, Market Opportunity Identification, Pharmaceutical Sales Training, Sales Territory Management.
