Senior Technician, Refrigeration​/HVAC

Walmart is recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for local retail stores.

This role supports and oversees repair of Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and associates, and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart’s refrigerant HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights (ladders).

• Hourly wage range $26.00 – $51.00, plus potential premiums of $0.35 – $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, or specific work performed.
• Bonus incentives may be available.
