QualificationsEducation and Experience: Currently certified as an instructor in a specialty area by a nationally recognized vocational training program and experience equivalent to two years of full‑time work instructing a specialty area.
OR
Possession of a certification in a specialty area by a nationally recognized vocational training program and five years of experience.

Qualifications:
For uncertified instructor applicants, this position requires the incumbent to enroll in a certified instructional program within the first six months of employment and to be completed within two years after employment begins.
Summary: Under general supervision, is responsible for sub‑professional career and technical education instruction work of average difficulty; and performs related work as required.
Distinguishing Features: An employee in this class is responsible for instructing rehabilitation and correctional students in career and technical training in order to prepare them to re‑enter the job market.
