Domino’s Pizza is hiring assistant managers to lead store operations, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and that the store runs smoothly, offering high‑quality service to customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage cost control, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
- Set an example and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Handle staffing, paperwork, food management, schedule adherence, image standards, customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation logistics, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability.
Many team members progress from delivery drivers to franchise owners, general managers, or corporate roles.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL STORE TEAM MEMBERS- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SKILLS- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Varying indoor temperatures from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
- Sudden temperature changes in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust and cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (STORE)- Standing – Most tasks performed from a standing position.
- Walking – For short distances and durations, on ceramic tile, linoleum, and other surfaces. Height of work surfaces 36″ to 48″.
- Sitting – Paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting – Bulk product deliveries may be unloaded with a hand truck; cases weighing up to 50 pounds and dimensions up to 3′×1.5′.
- Carrying – Large cans, sauce, and pizza dough trays (≈12 pounds per tray) carried short distances.
- Pushing / Pulling – Trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
- Climbing – Infrequently navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance.
- Stooping / Bending – Forward bending at the waist for pizza assembly; repeated throughout the day.
- Crouching / Squatting – Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching – Above 72″, downwards, and forward frequently.
- Hand Tasks – Continuous use of hands for dough shaping, peel handling, membrane assembly, and other tasks.
- Tools & Equipment – Use of pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and peel.
- Deliver product by car to customer door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, carrying pizzas and beverages while performing walking, climbing, and carrying tasks.
- Drive within a designated delivery area, making multiple deliveries per shift.
- Maintain safe driving record and provide insured vehicle for delivery.
- Varying weather conditions while delivering product.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
