Senior Accountant

Extension is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI

• Prepare monthly journal entries and support the month-end close process.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain the accuracy of financial records and reporting.
• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including cash reconciliations and vendor invoice coding.
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, gathering supporting documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
• Support accounting projects, process improvements, and system conversions or enhancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience or experience within a publicly traded manufacturing company preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with Quick Books Online and SAP is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
