The IT Applications Architect – Sales & Operations is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of the organization’s technical solutions and will serve as the technical expert on solution design, development, and implementation requirements to address business needs. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and IT development and operations teams to develop, maintain, and enhance our enterprise architecture.

Critical for success is a deep understanding of enterprise‑level software development, infrastructure, and security, as well as experience with modern technologies and industry best practices. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills are key. Must be able to work in a team environment.

• Experience with Salesforce Architecture
• Experience implementing and integrating Salesforce Field Service for scheduling, dispatch, work orders, and mobile workforce management
• Ability to architect end‑to‑end integration between CRM, FSL, and PMIS platforms
• Experience with ERP and Construction platforms such as Procore, InEight, or similar, including project financials
• Strong knowledge of integration tools (REST APIs, middleware, iPaaS) to enable real‑time and batch data synchronization across systems
• Experience designing field‑to‑office workflows, including mobile data capture, offline capabilities, and synchronization with core systems
• Experience implementing automation and workflow orchestration (approvals, change orders, service triggers, escalations)
• Ability to enforce security, role‑based access, and data governance across application platforms
• Vendor/platform evaluation and roadmap ownership across construction operations systems

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 4–6 years of experience as an IT Technical Architect or similar role, or an equivalent combination
• Experience with enterprise‑level infrastructure design, security, and performance best practices
• Experience with project management and life‑cycle management methodologies

• Experience with IT service management methodologies, such as ITIL
• Experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and microservices architecture
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
