Extension is seeking an Indirect Category Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI
!
A global manufacturing leader is seeking a Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost improvement initiatives for indirect spend categories. This role partners with internal teams and suppliers to improve performance, reduce costs, and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships
- Lead negotiations, contracts, and cost-saving initiatives
- Analyze spend data and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage procurement projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Drive supplier performance improvements in cost, quality, and delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
- 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience
- Manufacturing experience required
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
- Experience with indirect spend and global suppliers preferred
- SAP experience or ASCM certification a plus
- Location:
Ripon, WI - Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM - Compensation: $95,000-$115,000 base salary + 8-10% bonus
