COMP/BENEFITS: Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000

Requirements Primary FunctionWe are seeking an experienced, energetic and passionate community leader to execute the ambitious vision around our workforce development and licensed childcare projects. The Director of Strategic Partnerships & Services (DSPS) drives vision, strategic partnerships, and growth for the entire organization, ensuring alignment with, both, the mission and the organizational strategic plan. Priority areas for immediate growth and advancement, include licensed childcare and teen workforce development.
This highly visible community leader will bring a contagious passion and a relentless pursuit for advancing the Club priorities.
DSPS also oversees program site operations safety, food service, partnerships, parent relations, crisis management, budgeting, grant compliance, and personnel. The DSPS leads four direct reports and approximately 65 indirect reports across three locations, provides regular updates to the Board, and collaborates with administration on organizational priorities.
Key Roles Leadership- Provide leadership in program vision, design and partnerships across all operations
- Inspire and motivate a large team & external partners.
- Set culture and standards for all sites
- Support development and training
- Develop the partnerships and curricula and implement highly engaging, and well attended workforce development coursework at the Club, in partnership with local districts and other external partners.
- Align processes with evolving strategic priorities.
- Present regular updates to the CEO and board of directors to mark progress.
- Coordinate budgets with Finance and CEO; monitor variances and adjust as needed.
- Support fundraising events and youth stewardship opportunities.
- Ensure grant deliverables are met to maintain funding.
- Seek growth opportunities for the organization (additional school sites, child care centers, CCLC 21st Century opportunities)
- Oversee administrative processes for efficiency (registration, payments, member systems).
- Ensure facilities are safe, clean, and operational; supervise upkeep and IT/security needs.
- Be a highly visible force in the community that becomes synonymous with our high quality programs.
- Regular public appearances, public speaking and recruitment events.
- Build partnerships with school districts, tech schools, business partners and state agencies as needed to meet objectives,
- Conduct tours and presentations; participate in community events to promote programs.
- Oversee restricted programs and reporting requirements.
- Will support HR functions of large team: recruitment, culture, compensation, benefits, and team development.
Internal:
Close contact with all staff; regular interaction with CEO and Board.

- Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 8 years supervisory experience in operations or equivalent.
- Some familiarly with childcare licensing and its complexities preferred; or willingness to learn quickly.
- Knowledge of Boys & Girls Clubs mission and programs.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to think clearly, sit/stand for extended periods, climb stairs, run, engage in sports activities, and lift 50 lbs.
- High energy and positive attitude; able to work in fast-paced, noisy environments.
