Production Supervisor – Manufacturing (Weekend 2nd Shift)

Location: Ripon, WI
Shift: Weekend 2nd Shift | Friday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM (additional days as needed)
Shift Differential: $500/month ($6,000/year)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, people development, production performance, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on servant leadership. You will oversee stamping press operations, ensure production targets are met, and create a safe, engaged, and results-driven workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day production and staffing to meet safety, quality, and output goals
  • Champion a safety-first culture, conduct audits, and lead incident investigations
  • Supervise high-volume stamping press operations and optimize manpower and machine utilization
  • Coach, train, and develop employees, including cross-training and performance management
  • Partner with Union Stewards on attendance, discipline, and employee relations
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs, downtime, scrap, and quality; implement corrective actions quickly
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Prior manufacturing supervision experience (stamping press preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Proven servant leadership and team development skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
