Adecco is partnering with a local client in Ripon, Wisconsin to find reliable general production associates to work as a Grinders on 1st shift.
** Pay:** $18.50/hr
** Shift:
** Mon-Fri 6am-4pm
*
* Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
*
* + Operate and utilize grinding tools (including stand up grinder, hand grinder, file, etc) to remove excess material, burrs or imperfections from metal castings or other parts
+ Perform quality checks on product
+ Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
+ Clean work area at end of shift
+ Assist in other production areas as needed
+ Perform other related tasks as assigned
** Physical Environment/
Working Conditions:
*
* + Work in factory/foundry setting requiring bending, crouching, climbing, standing, walking, reaching, and lifting (1-50 lbs).
+ Expose to humidity, outdoor temperature extremes, noisy work areas, and vibrations.
+ Requires good vision for both near and far.
** Equipment and Machinery Used:*
* + Stand up and hand grinders, shovels, brooms, files, and personal protective equipment (hearing and eye protection).
** Requirements:*
* + Ability to understand and follow directions
+ Ability to read and write
+ Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
+ Ability to hear, listen and speak clearly
+ Previous manufacturing, foundry, grinding, or general labor experience preferred but not required
+ Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment for extended periods of time
+ Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed
** Pay Details:** $740.00 to $1,020.00 per week
