Examines equipment, processes, operations, and procedures to identify improvement opportunities in safety, quality, throughput, and cost. Implements changes and modifies operation standards. Evaluates vendor proposals for new equipment purchases. Selects and implements suitable manufacturing processes, applying modern organizational principles to produce products at a competitive cost. Identifies and optimizes current and new manufacturing processes using continuous improvement.
