This position is located on-site in Ripon, WI.
Standard
Work Hours:
Friday - Sunday 4 AM - 4 PM
Compensation:
Hourly Rate $- $ plus a $3.25 shift differential, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This competitive package reflects the importance and responsibility of this position within our organization.
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
- Troubleshoot and service motors, advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
- Perform welding as needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare new machines for operation following established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular technical testing on machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collect and analyze data on machine operation to identify trends and recommend actions to reduce machine downtime.
- Create and manage work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Demonstrate expert-level understanding of production machines and equipment.
- Preferred:
Two-year Associate degree and 2 to 4 years of work experience. - Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
- Physical requirements:
standing, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending. - Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
