* Job Summary:

** As a Bindery - Operator III you will be responsible for the set up, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of applicable binding equipment. This position is for 4 days a week of 10 hour shifts from 3pm to 1am with possible work on Fridays 1pm to 9pm.

* Essential Functions:

*** Set up, run, and maintain assigned machinery.
* Troubleshoot assigned machinery according to company procedures and practices to assure efficiency and quality to meet the required production schedule.
* Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
* Strive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals.
* Interpret and apply department policies, procedures and job instructions accurately.
* Communicate effectively with incoming shift personnel to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
* Maintain accurate counts.
* Move and organize scheduled work for assigned machinery.
* Assist in training new Bindery Operators.
* Monitor production and quality to make recommendations on process improvements.
* All other duties as assigned.

* Ability to work overtime beyond the standard 40-hour workweek depending on production requirements.
* Ability to be flexible, dependable, and have a strong work ethic is essential.

* Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls, tools or equipment.

* Minimum of 30 days in a Bindery role.
