Weekend Nights Friday - Sunday 4pm - 4am
CompensationHourly Rate: $ to $, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring
Shift Differential: $6.50 an hour
- Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
- Have knowledge of electrical power, and water distribution systems.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs.
- Perform work of lower-class identifications and may direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
- Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
- Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
- Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
- Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
- Repair, install, replace and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
- Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required.
- Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
- Standing long periods, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
- Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
