Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Technician 2 for a full-time weekend-night opportunity in Ripon, Wisconsin. This is a hands‑on industrial maintenance role requiring strong electrical, PLC, electronic controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Electro Mechanical Technician 2 is responsible for troubleshooting, testing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and electromechanical systems used to control manufacturing machinery and equipment. The technician works across electrical power, PLC and electronic controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical components to keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
This position requires the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, sketches, and diagrams; troubleshoot machine-control circuits; install electrical and electronic controls; perform basic mechanical repairs; and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for maintenance work orders and parts management.
SCHEDULE- Friday–Sunday
- 4:00 PM–4:00 AM
- Weekend Night Shift
- Three 12-Hour Shifts
- Fully On-Site in Ripon, Wisconsin
- Design minor electrical circuits
- Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits used to control machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot PLC control circuits
- Troubleshoot electronic control circuits
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic circuits
- Diagnose and repair pneumatic circuits
- Install electrical and electronic controls on machinery and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Work with electrical power distribution systems
- Work with water distribution systems
- Perform basic mechanical repairs
- Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical components
- Replace components including brushes and armatures
- Install and monitor electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement needs
- Interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions
- Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures and equipment
- Install and service wiring and new electrical services
- Work with electrical panels and breakers
- Install and repair conduit
- Mount motors and transformers
- Install lighting fixtures
- Complete electrical circuits according to diagram specifications
- Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment
- Use appropriate electrical tools and testing instruments
- Search for replacement parts using computerized systems
- Create and manage maintenance work through a CMMS
- Perform additional maintenance work as directed by the Group Leader

- 2–4 Years of Related Electromechanical Maintenance Experience REQUIRED
- Two-Year Associate Degree in a Related Technical Field REQUIRED
- Hands-On Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair Experience REQUIRED
