Job SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for directing, managing and coordinating all matters relating to assigned job projects. The Project Manager will provide the necessary guidance, counsel and direction to Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee full project lifecycle (project set up, submittals, procurement, project schedule management, punch lists & closeout) for multiple projects at once; ensuring all project tasks are completed accurately, fully and timely.
- Maintain a complete and thorough understanding of the contract requirements for each project; more specifically, change orders and billing procedures.
- Ensure each job cost element, specifically labor (including sub-contractors), material and equipment, is within the approved budget.
- Coordinate with the Site Superintendent to attend the Pre-Start meeting, Progress meetings and the Post-Job Completion meeting for all Prime Segment projects.
- For all active projects, maintains a strong working rapport with each customer, builds trust, and sources leads for new business projects.
- Ensure that any customer concerns or complaints are handled in an appropriate manner that promotes customer satisfaction.
- Maintains continuous communication on all active projects with client and the Site Superintendent, that is to include frequent job site visits.
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Civil Engineering, Landscape Industries, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a site constructions environment within the industrial, or institutional, construction industry.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all facets of the industrial construction industry.
- High proficiency with Procore or similar construction project management software.
- Exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
