Job Description

Join our team as a Lab Technician. In this role, you will support laboratory testing operations by preparing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, documenting results, and following established testing procedures. You will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment where accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

+ Review testing plans and laboratory schedules to prepare samples for processing.

+ Prepare samples, testing materials, and growth or testing media according to established procedures.

+ Process and monitor samples throughout various stages of testing.

+ Collect, document, and communicate testing data and observations.

+ Maintain accurate sample tracking using laboratory documentation systems and LIMS.

+ Label, organize, and store samples according to laboratory protocols.

+ Operate laboratory equipment and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

+ Evaluate test results and accurately record findings for review.

+ Clean laboratory glassware, equipment, and work areas.

+ Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, materials, and chemicals.

+ Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

+

Experience with sample handling, labeling, and documentation.

+ Knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures.

+ Familiarity with laboratory equipment and basic testing methods.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a repetitive work environment.

+ Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of RIVER FALLS, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36400.00 - $36400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
