Experienced Caregiver needed for a high needs stroke client in River Forest. Friendly dog.
Benefits- Starting pay $19.00/hour for nursing or clinical backgrounds
- Flexible shifts ideal for retired healthcare workers
- Deliver compassionate, personalized home care focused a stroke patient
- Collaborate with families and healthcare providers to maintain client comfort and safety
- Assist with daily living tasks while providing emotional and social companionship
- Provide personal care, companionship, and monitor patient wellbeing changes for high needs client
- Follow care plans accurately and report communication to healthcare teams
- Support physical and emotional needs tailored to dementia and hospice patients
- Retired nurse or clinical experience strongly preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers
- Experience or comfort working with hospice and end-of-life care
- Knowledge and experience with stroke recovery a must
