Executive Director of Nursing

Dominican University (DU) seeks a mission-driven, innovative, and visionary leader to serve as its next Executive Director of Nursing. Dominican seeks an Executive Director of Nursing who embraces this distinctive Catholic and Sinsinawa Dominican mission and the core values focused on student success and equity-mindedness. The Executive Director reports to Dean of the Borra College of Health Sciences and will be responsible for providing academic leadership by setting the standards of intellectual engagement and accomplishment for the DU School of Nursing, including graduate and undergraduate programs, and supporting the strategic mission and vision to create and maintain an academic and scholarly environment that supports DU faculty and students.

The ideal candidate will lead with honesty, transparency, and compassion and be an exemplary manager of change. Minimum requirements include an earned doctoral degree in nursing, prior leadership experience gained within an academic setting, and eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Illinois.

• Compensation range: $160,000 to $180,000
