, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving access control professional at a utilities location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support daily security-related operations. • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, processing visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and maintaining required entry and exit documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report conditions to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior areas, gates, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by observing site conditions, communicating clearly with staff and visitors, and following established post orders.

• An EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
