Liberty Behavioral is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Liaison to help expand our presence throughout Southern California.
If you enjoy building long-term relationships, developing new business opportunities, and making a meaningful difference in people's lives, this is an opportunity to join a growing organization where your efforts directly impact families in need of behavioral health services.
This is more than a sales position. You'll become the primary liaison between Liberty Behavioral and Regional Centers, service coordinators, healthcare professionals, schools, community organizations, and referral partners. You'll own your territory, develop strategic partnerships, and help guide referrals from initial introduction through successful admission into services.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Regional Centers, Service Coordinators, healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations.
- Generate new referral opportunities while expanding existing referral partnerships.
- Represent Liberty Behavioral at community events, networking meetings, and professional conferences.
- Manage your referral pipeline from initial referral through client admission by partnering closely with our Intake and Clinical teams.
- Help remove barriers that delay referral conversion by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate activity and referral documentation within our CRM.
- Develop territory growth strategies and identify new opportunities for market expansion.
- Meet and exceed monthly business development goals while delivering exceptional service to referral partners.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in business development, outside sales, healthcare marketing, case management, community outreach, or relationship management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working independently while managing a defined territory.
- Organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Valid California driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Experience working with Regional Centers, developmental disabilities, ABA services, behavioral health, healthcare, or human services is highly preferred.
- Southern California preferred.
Why Join Liberty Behavioral?
- Performance-based commission plan with uncapped earning potential
- Paid time off
- Opportunity for advancement within a rapidly growing organization
- Supportive leadership focused on your long-term success
Compensation
Our compensation plan is designed to reward both new business generation and long-term client success.
Compensation includes:
- Performance-based commissions
High performers have the opportunity to significantly increase their annual earnings through our performance-based incentive program.
Why This Role Is Different
- At Liberty Behavioral, Business Development isn't simply about generating referrals. Our Business Development Liaisons become trusted advisors to Regional Centers and community partners while collaborating closely with our clinical and intake teams to ensure families receive services quickly and efficiently.
