STEM Teacher

SAR Academy, a private Jewish Day School in Riverdale, NY, is seeking a passionate and innovative STEM Educator to join our dynamic team.

• Design and implement engaging, hands‑on STEM lessons that foster creativity, problem‑solving, and critical thinking.
• Teach and support students in STEM‑related disciplines, including coding, 3D design, robotics, and makerspace activities
  .
• Develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate STEM concepts with other subjects.
• Maintain and enhance the school’s makerspace and technology resources
  .
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to integrate STEM learning into the broader curriculum.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging STEM trends and best practices in education.

• Experience working with elementary and middle school students in a STEM‑related capacity.
• Proficiency in coding (e.g., Scratch, Python, or similar), robotics (e.g., LEGO Spike Prime, VEX), 3D printing, and makerspace tools
  .
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Science, Technology, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.

• Full‑time position (Monday–Friday).
• Competitive salary and benefits based on experience.

$60,000 - $80,000 a year

Salary commensurate with experience.
