Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), Division of Analysis & Networks (DAN).

As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-15, you will provide leadership and executive direction for implementing assigned programs, oversee the development and implementation of data analytics, stakeholder networks and targeted communications and outreach strategies.

• Direct and manage a Division responsible for cross-model learning programs, analytics, and Center-wide improvement initiatives supporting CMMI’s innovation mission.
• Provide executive leadership and supervision over staff, including hiring, performance evaluation, workforce development, and workload distribution.
• Advise senior CMS, HHS, and CMMI leadership on short- and long-range strategies related to healthcare payment and delivery reform.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement and national learning networks, fostering collaboration among providers, payers, states, and Federal partners.
• Lead complex projects and initiatives, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including OMB, OIG, Congress, and contractors, and resolving high-level programmatic issues.
