Job Summary:
Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Provider to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver high‑quality patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred to better serve our Spanish-speaking community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and continuous care.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventative care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Foster a culturally sensitive environment to meet the needs of a diverse patient population, with a focus on Spanish-speaking individuals when applicable.

- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
- Culturally competent care delivery with sensitivity to the needs of Spanish-speaking patients.
- Education: MD, DO, from an accredited program.
- Licensure/Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
- Active medical license in the state of [State].
- DEA license and BLS certification required.
