Title: Middle School Small Group Resource Teacher
Location: Dubois Integrity Academy
Job Type: Full-Time
- Provide small group and individualized instruction in reading, writing, and/or mathematics
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
- Use data-driven strategies to assess student progress and adjust instruction
- Collaborate with general education teachers to align instruction and support inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and compliance requirements
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Familiarity with evidence-based literacy and math intervention programs
