This is a full-time, on-site Teachers role located in Riverdale, GA. The Teachers will plan and deliver standards-based lessons, create instructional materials, and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Daily responsibilities include facilitating classroom instruction, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in professional development, communicating regularly with families or caregivers, and supporting school-wide initiatives.
Teachers are expected to uphold school policies, contribute to a positive school culture, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment.
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with demonstrated ability to support student learning across varied backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing standards-aligned, engaging, and differentiated instructional activities.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, colleagues, and administrators in a clear and professional manner.
- Experience in Training or mentoring students and/or peers, with the ability to provide guidance, feedback, and support.
- Relevant teaching certification or licensure in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; advanced degrees are welcomed.
- Ability to manage classrooms positively, use data to inform instruction, and integrate educational technology where appropriate.
- Commitment to equity, inclusivity, and continuous professional growth, including participation in ongoing training and collaboration.
