Home Health Aide Sanzie Healthcare Services

Immediate opening for a Home Health Aide with Sanzie Healthcare Services. The position involves assisting an adult woman with her daily activities and routines. The work schedule is PM hours, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a flexible weekend schedule. When school is out on the above days of the week, the schedule will be from 10 am to 6 pm.

Salary range is $14/hour for a total of 40 hours weekly. No more than 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications:

The person should be able to read and write the English language, must be punctual, must have a valid Georgia driver's license.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care:
  Lifting and transferring, personal grooming, showering, toileting, and helping with hair care.
• Completing daily maintenance tasks at home.
• Domestic/household assistance:
  Fixing laundry, vacuuming and dusting, cleaning the bathroom, dishwashing, cleaning the room, helping with washing and arranging clothes, etc.
• Health and safety care:
  Assisting with medications, daily range of motion, or stretching.
• Community assistance:
  Connecting to community activities, helping to get together with friends and families, meeting new people, attending appointments, helping to entertain in the house, grocery shopping with or for the individual, assisting and taking to doctor's appointments, attending social and recreational events in the community, going to movies, attending church, working out with a personal trainer, attending weekly bowling activities, participating in practices with local bands, doing horse riding, and attending play.
• Assist with the physical exercise.

Work environment:
Most work will be performed in the employer's home but may also be required in community settings. Ability to be flexible, adjust work habits on feedback, and effectively communicate with the employer. Punctuality and reliability are essential qualities for this position. Background is required and random drug testing.
