About Rivian

Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.

As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

Role Summary

We are seeking a high-potential, creative, and enthusiastic Recruiting and Programs Coordinator to join our Emerging Talent team. In this dual-impact role, you will help shape the early-career candidate journey—from finding top talent to delivering an unforgettable program experience.

You will combine event execution with recruiting support by proactively sourcing talent, managing candidate pipelines, and coordinating engaging early-career experiences for our interns, co-ops, and rotational program participants. If you love creative event planning, talent strategy, and are eager to kickstart and grow your career in talent acquisition and program management, this role is for you!

Responsibilities
  • Source emerging talent across campus networks, student organizations, and professional networking platforms and learn to manage full life-cycle recruiting tasks.
  • Manage candidate pipelines within the applicant tracking system, moving prospects smoothly from initial outreach through the interview process.
  • Coordinate logistics for campus and intern program events, including orientation, executive Q&As, workshops, and final presentations.
  • Manage vendor communications, swag orders, venue bookings, and virtual event setups.
  • Maintain the master calendar for recruiting cycles, interview schedules, and cohort program events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidate and program participant inquiries across email and team channels.
  • Drive engagement initiatives, social activities, and peer mentorship networks for active cohorts.
  • Update and distribute recruiting materials, onboarding guides, program handbooks, and FAQs.
  • Track program metrics and pipeline analytics, including sourcing conversion rates, event attendance, and survey feedback.
  • Partner with Recruiters, HR Ops, IT, and Hiring Managers to streamline onboarding, equipment setup, and expense tracking.
Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of professional, internship, or campus leadership experience in recruiting support, event coordination, marketing, or project management—we are ready to train and invest in the right candidate!
  • Strong curiosity about talent acquisition, with an eager interest in learning how to proactively source candidates and build healthy pipelines.
  • Passion for brainstorming fresh outreach strategies, eye-catching event concepts, and creative ways to engage early-career candidates.
  • Natural talent for hospitality and event execution, with a strong eye for detail whether planning a campus event, an in-person social, or a virtual workshop.
  • High learning agility with a proactive,  can-do  attitude and a genuine hunger to build a career in talent management or recruiting operations.
  • Dynamic, approachable, and articulate, with an ability to connect authentically with candidates, early-career talent, and internal leaders alike.
  • Comfortable learning new systems quickly and familiar with basic productivity and virtual collaboration software.
  • Ability to travel to campus recruiting events, conferences and onsite to our Atlanta Headquarters, required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with sourcing platforms, applicant tracking systems, or survey or event software.
  • Prior involvement in campus leadership, student organizations, or university event planning.
  • Experience or interest in hybrid event concepts and creative social content for talent branding.
