Diesel Technician​/Mechanic

We are an authorized dealer of new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment including skid steers track loaders compact excavators telehandlers utility vehicles and more We provide service both in the field and in our facility Bobcat of Atlanta Riverdale is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive friendly educated and timely manner This includes performing basic diagnostics service repairs and maintenance work on customer andor dealer owned construction equipment The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical hydraulic diesel and electrical systems and executing effective solutions Monday Friday dayshift 25 35hr depending on experience

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive friendly educated and timely manner
• Performs basic diagnostics service repairs and maintenance work on customer andor dealer owned construction equipment
• Identifies problems with mechanical hydraulic diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
• Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
• Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company

• High school diploma or equivalent is required2 year technical school graduate preferred
• 1 year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3 5 years preferred
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs
• Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment Occasionally lifting carrying pushing or pulling 50 100 pounds andor frequently lifting carrying pushing or pulling 20 50 pounds andor continuous lifting carrying pushing or pulling 10 20 pounds Regularly required to stand walk reach with hands and arms grasp or pull and lift objects Occasionally required to sit climb and balance kneel stoop crouch and crawl Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions fumes and loud noise
