Retail Sales Associate

What you’ll be doing

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
• Close sales using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon sponsored events.

Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour plus up to $18,000 per year in individual‑based commissions when sales goals are met. Top performers can earn an additional $14,500 or more in commissions, achieving a total annual compensation of $65,000 to $75,500 or more, depending on geography, hours worked, and performance.

In this worksite‑based role, you will work onsite at a defined location(s).

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule provided four weeks in advance).
• Openness to picking up additional shifts, especially during summers, November–December, and peak vacation periods.

• Experience working in a commission‑based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
