Job Description

Sales Associate at La‑Z‑Boy Furniture Galleries.

• Interact with customers appropriately and professionally, providing the highest level of customer service to all current and future customers.
• Guide high‑end clients through a premium sales experience.
• Create inspired spaces with world‑class furniture and décor.
• Curate luxury looks while earning commissions with no ceiling.
• Drive sales by contributing to store sales goals through selling furniture, accessories, and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy.
• Complete all sales paperwork and customer service issues in a timely manner.
• Attend and participate in company training and store meetings.
• Assist in training, coaching, and developing new peers on product knowledge and selling processes.
• Accurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, maintain orderly customer records, and research customer payments and deliveries.
• Follow company procedures and policies, including anti‑harassment, attendance, and sales policies.
• Perform a minimum number of house calls to customer homes.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and positively influence customers.
• Vocational or technical training in a related field preferred.
• Experience in luxury sales or retail; prior selling experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to close a sale and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Computer literate and willing to use company technology.
• Reliable transportation to drive to customer homes.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stand for long periods.

Training pay: $22.00 per hour for two weeks (no commission).
After training: base salary of approximately $45,864 per year, plus uncapped monthly commission ranging from 6% to 7.5% on individual written sales.
