Job responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice verification.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and support audits and tax filings.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; CPA designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems such as Quick Books or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
- Prior experience in wholesale, distribution, or retail environments.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
