• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
• Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other financial statements.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures by preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Support financial decision‑making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data.
• Assist with year‑end close process and the preparation of audit schedules.
• Utilize Sage Intacct software for financial management purposes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficient in Sage Intacct and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior Accountant with a strong background in construction industry accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year‑end audit preparation, budgeting, and the support of budget and forecast activities. The Senior Accountant will work closely with our accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
