Billing Account Specialist
Our client is seeking a Billing Account Specialist to manage the full client accounting cycle, from billing through collections, while serving as a key financial liaison between the firm and its clients. This role is responsible for preparing and processing high-volume legal invoices, setting up and managing e-billing matters, submitting electronic bills, resolving billing rejections, and ensuring compliance with client guidelines and firm policies.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining client and matter records, reviewing legal service agreements for billing accuracy, editing time entries, monitoring aging accounts receivable, collaborating with the Accounts Receivable team on collections, and responding to billing inquiries from attorneys and clients.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of law firm billing experience and strong expertise in e-billing platforms, with experience using E-Billing Hub considered a plus. Proficiency with systems such as 3E, iManage, Microsoft Office, and platforms including TyMetrix, Counsel Link, Legal Tracker, Quovant, and Brightflag is highly preferred. Candidates should possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while handling confidential information professionally.
This hybrid position requires candidates to be local to the Riverside, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Irvine, or San Diego office. The expected salary range is $70,000–$80,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
