Highlights of what our Estimator will do:
* Review construction documents and understand scope of work to bid.
* Execute take-offs of construction documents in the Onscreen takeoff program.
* Input take-offs into sage estimating program.
* solicit and obtain pricing for materials and subcontractors.
* Determine the cost of all material, labor, equipment, and subcontractors to complete the project.
* Informs immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database.
* Prepares cost analysis by capturing all material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs required for installation of projects.
* Attend meetings as required
Are you the right fit for this role?
Skills & experience that are necessary as a Senior Estimator will include, but not limited to:
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a landscape/construction estimator.
* Construction estimating experience required. Landscape construction estimating is preferred.
* Experienced with takeoff and estimating software OnCenter, and Timberline a plus
* Intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel and mathematics
* Extremely detailed and strong work ethic
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* OST & Sage Estimating experience preferred but not required
* Must be a team player and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
