The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for overseeing structural concrete operations across multiple heavy civil construction projects. This hands-on leadership role manages field crews, schedules, resources, safety, and quality while ensuring projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with plans and specifications. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in structural concrete construction, enjoys working in the field, and is comfortable traveling extensively to support active projects.

• Manage and dispatch concrete crews across multiple project sites
• Coordinate project schedules and construction sequencing with Project Managers
• Ensure all concrete work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Plan manpower, equipment, materials, and concrete placement activities
• Oversee formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and stripping operations
• Monitor layout, grading, elevations, and overall project execution
• Coordinate with suppliers, inspectors, testing agencies, pump operators, and crane operators
• Track productivity and hold crews accountable for schedule and performance goals
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements on all jobsites
• Identify and resolve field issues to maintain project schedules and quality standards

• 5+ years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar field leadership role
• Strong background in structural concrete construction on heavy civil projects
• Experience with foundations, footings, walls, columns, slabs, retaining walls, box culverts, vaults, bridges, or similar structures
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of formwork systems, reinforcing steel, concrete mix designs, pour sequencing, cold joints, and ACI standards
• Willingness to travel extensively and work primarily in the field
• Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and post-offer physical
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
