Job Description & How to Apply Below

About Us

myPawPair is a one‑stop pet care companion app supporting pet owners through every stage of their pet’s life — health and safety resources, trusted local providers, and personalized care guidance all in one place. We lead with the companion experience, not the technology. Launching in the East Bay, end of May/early June.

The Role

This is a primarily remote summer internship running now through end of August 2026, with 1–2 required in‑person appearances for key events including the myPawPair launch. Your first deliverable is a 45–60 second launch video for our website — full creative brief provided. From there you will assist in the development and scheduling of social media content across social platforms like IG and Tik Tok, including short‑form video, static posts, and stories, under the direction of the myPawPair founders.

You

Are a Fit If You
  • Demonstrated ability to tell a story through video — not just edit clips together, but build a visual narrative with a beginning, middle, and end
  • Strong sense of pacing and rhythm — knows when to cut, when to let a moment breathe, and how to sync visuals to music
  • Experience producing narrated or voiceover‑driven video content
  • Comfortable selecting and syncing background music and balancing audio levels
  • Can maintain consistent look, feel, and tone across multiple pieces of content within the same brand
  • Experience shooting and editing vertical video format for social media platforms like Tik Tok and IG Reels specifically
  • Have experience creating short‑form video and social media content
  • Can tell a story through video — not just edit clips, but build a visual narrative
  • Are comfortable with Cap Cut, Descript, Adobe Premiere, Canva Video, or similar tools
  • Have experience with narrated video, audio balancing, and animated text overlays
  • Can source stock footage and maintain consistent brand look and feel across content
  • Shoot and edit vertical video on social media platforms like Tik Tok and IG Reels
  • Make content feel warm and human — not AI‑generated
  • Are a self‑starter who owns deadlines without being chased
  • Have a genuine love for animals
  • Advanced motion design is a plus
  • Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a U.S. college or university
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be located in or able to travel to the East Bay for 1‑2 in‑person events
Compensation

This internship offers a performance‑based payment of up to $2,000 for the summer, paid in four milestone‑based installments tied to approved deliverables.
