YourImpact
As Assistant Project Manager / Designer, you ll contribute to meaningful public safety and civic projects from design through construction. You ll join a team currently working on two major police stations heading to construction this summer, plus fire stations and a new library project. With direct access to firm leadership and a dedicated senior mentor, you ll develop expertise across the full project lifecycle while shaping facilities that protect and serve communities.
WhatYou ll Do
- Support public sector projects through all phases from schematic design through construction administration
- Produce and manage BIM models in Revit for municipal clients including police and fire departments
- Develop construction documents, technical details, and specifications for complex civic facilities
- Collaborate with principals, consultants, and municipal stakeholders in a horizontal team structure
- Navigate public sector requirements including DSA submittals and agency approvals
- Contribute design solutions for specialized building types including public safety facilities
- 5 to 10 years of professional architecture experience
- Strong Revit production capability with years of proficiency matching years in profession
- Proven experience supporting projects through construction phase (not just schematic/DD)
- Public sector project background (municipal, civic, educational, or government facilities)
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture or related field
- Licensed Architect or progressing toward licensure
- Master s degree in Architecture
- Direct experience with fire stations, police facilities, or law enforcement projects
- Small firm environment experience with "roll up your sleeves" mentality
