Manufacturing Engineer
What You Will Do
- Work under moderate supervision
- Read and follow lab planning, lab procedures and work instructions.
- Interpret basic blueprint/drawings if required.
- Read and follow specification requirements
- Check work visually and dimensionally using required documentation to verify configurations, quality and identify nonconformance from workmanship of self and others.
- Use computers and office equipment to record and process transactions.
- Keep equipment and surroundings neat, clean and organized.
- Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function as well as willing to learn other processes to broaden skillset
- Hands‑on composite manufacturing processes.
- How to read & understand manufacturing documents and engineering drawings.
- How to work as a key member of an engineering test lab team.
- AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Composites fabrication experience, e.g., lay‑up.
- Previous mechanical assembly experience.

The salary range for this role is 58,400 USD - 111,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
