We are representing a well-established architectural firm seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of educational, healthcare, civic, and commercial projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities- Manage architectural projects through all phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and governing agencies.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.
- Lead and coordinate internal project teams and outside consultants.
- Review drawings and specifications for quality, coordination, code compliance, and constructability.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project planning sessions.
- Respond to RFIs, review submittals, coordinate change orders, and support construction administration efforts.
- Mentor junior staff and provide leadership to project team members.
- Assist with proposals, interviews, business development initiatives, and maintaining client relationships.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture preferred.
- 7+ years of architectural project management experience.
- Proven experience managing projects through all phases of design and construction.
- Strong understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and consultant coordination.
- Experience with educational, healthcare, civic, or public‑sector projects preferred.
- Architectural license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
- Experience coordinating with state and local regulatory agencies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
