Professor of Clinical X and Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series - Open Rank
We are recruiting faculty members within the Department of Family Medicine in the Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. The role involves full‑time outpatient clinical practice in Family Medicine within an academic setting, with opportunities for teaching and scholarly activity.
Eligible candidates will practice at the UC Riverside School of Medicine affiliated hospital in San Bernardino.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care in Family Medicine.
- Teach medical students and residents.
- Engage in research, scholarly activities, and public service aligned with appointment level.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
- Completed an ACGME accredited family medicine residency.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to medical education.
- Eligible to practice in the State of California at the time of employment.
- Ability to secure medical staff privileges at UCR Health and affiliated hospital.
- Preference for those who support UCR’s mission of educational success for underrepresented and first‑generation college students.
Academic rank:
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series. Rank will be based on qualifications and experience.
Compensation:
Base salary range $115,100 – $305,900
