Child Psychiatrist

This contracted Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist position is located in Riverside, CA, offering 16-24 hours per week onsite. The role focuses on psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment for children and adolescents within a Behavioral Health Services Program.

The practice emphasizes a strengths‑based, community‑oriented approach. The physician works independently under agency guidelines while collaborating with a treatment team, families, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose conditions.
• Prescribe medication and manage treatment plans.
• Provide follow‑up care and education to patients and their families.
• Document clinical materials in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• California medical license.
• Board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• DEA license.
• Experience working with diverse youth populations.
• Bilingual skills and outpatient experience are desirable.
