Position SummaryResponsible for planning, organizing and implementing an appropriate Social Studies instructional program based on the Colorado Academic Standards and district scope and sequence in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Responsible for working effectively with a team of paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, parents and District office staff with the purpose of providing quality educational services for each and every student, each and every day, without exception.

Salary Range- In district experience salary range: $44,731-$123,977
- No in district experience salary range: $44,731-$67,102

Path 3 – Apprentice Teacher of RecordIf you are interested in completing your bachelor's degree and becoming a teacher, the Colorado Department of Education is partnering with the Department of Labor to create a Teacher Apprentice Program. This program is aimed to allow aspiring teachers to earn their bachelor's degree while gaining on the job training. for more information
