Position description:
The University Writing Program at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for full‑time and part‑time Lecturer positions during the 2026‑2027 academic year. Teaching assignments are in English Composition and/or Entry‑Level Writing classes, including Multilingual Learners (ML). The number of positions varies from quarter to quarter and may be renewed based on the instructional needs of the Program and available funding.

Basic Qualifications- An M.A. and two years of teaching experience at the college level are required.
- Multilingual Learner(s) (ML) certification and/or significant experience teaching second‑language students.
- Commitment to the UCR mission of providing routes to educational success for under‑represented and first‑generation college students (preferred).
- Cover letter, CV, verification of credentials, statement of teaching explaining composition pedagogy, most recent student evaluations or evidence of teaching performance, and contact information for at least three references.
- Optional: teaching materials such as syllabi and sample assignments.
- Optional: statement of research or creative activity.
