The University of California, Riverside School of Medicine Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Department is seeking a collaborative and relationship-focused professional to serve as the Medical Education Affiliate Relationship Coordinator. Under the general direction of the Director of Medical Education and in support of the Associate Dean for Clinical Medical Education, this position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining strategic relationships with clinical faculty, hospitals, clinics, and community-based medical education partners throughout the Inland Empire.
The incumbent supports the recruitment and retention of clinical education sites and faculty participating in Pre‑Clerkship, Clerkship, and LACE programs, while coordinating affiliation agreements, faculty appointments, learner placements, and ongoing program support activities. This position plays a key role in expanding and sustaining high-quality clinical learning opportunities that support the mission and educational objectives of the UCR School of Medicine.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. This position is fully onsite at the UCR Main Campus for at least the first six months. It may then be eligible to transition to a hybrid role of 3 days onsite/2 days remote.
